Carving
Although I've worked with wood pretty much all my life, having started out as a carpenter and builder back in my twenties, I've only recently taken up carving in the Pacific Northwest style. I've been studying with Herb Rice, a master carver in Duncan. Herb has taught me an approach based on simple tools and traditional styles and techniques.
